The room had a surprisingly spacious bathroom, giving a sense of luxury that wasn't echoed in the rest of the space. The central location made it easy to explore the local area between visits up to the bar.
Parking is a bit challenging, with only six spaces available for the entire hotel. The heating couldn’t be turned off, resulting in an uncomfortable warmth in the room, exacerbated by the lack of air conditioning. The bed felt cramped. anyone over six feet tall might find themselves sleeping on the floor for comfort. Breakfast turned into a disaster, with loads of flies buzzing around, and the food was left out, making it unappealing. I struggled to check in due to a faulty self-service system, and being sent to an area blasted by motorcycle racing was less than relaxing. There’s a clear need for more attention to cleanliness, especially in shared areas.

Perfect for a city break if you're not too picky
The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the food at the attached Indian restaurant was fantastic! I couldn't believe the price for the meals we had. Definitely worth it, even went there twice during my stay!
It wasn't exactly inexpensive though, but you get what you pay for.

The warm greeting by the receptionist and the spacious executive room made our stay enjoyable, but the slow Wi-Fi and the noise from outside were quite distracting.

Had a lovely stay where I thoroughly enjoyed the spacious family room and the impressive breakfast options. The hotel offers a cozy lounge and a refreshing swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Although the parking situation could be better, it didn't take away from my overall experience. 😊

Had a cracking time at the Mumbai restaurant – the curry was proper lush! The room was spacious and well-lit, perfect to unwind after a long day. Plus, the location was mint, close to loads of local spots like Pearl Bar for a cheeky pint or Costa for a cuppa!
Bit of a faff with check-in, and the automated system needs a tune-up. breakfast felt a bit scrappy with flies buzzing about. Not ideal, eh?

the check in was fine and the bed was comfy. the standard double room was what i expected, nothing fancy but decent enough. stayed for just 1 night and it was overall okay. i really liked the old architecture of the hotel too, so that was a bonus. also, the location is great for exploring the area.
the bathroom wasn't clean and the heating was too hot without any control. also, the breakfast was overpriced at £9 each, so we skipped it and got something cheaper nearby.

I appreciated the spacious and clean Standard Double Room during my stay. The bed felt very comfortable, and I had a quiet night without disturbances. The location impressed me as it was easily accessible to shopping and the waterfront attractions. The staff greeted me warmly upon arrival, making for a pleasant check-in experience. parking was a hassle. Despite limited spaces close to the hotel, I struggled to find a spot nearby. The entrance wasn't monitored, which felt a little off-putting. Although the India restaurant next door had lovely food, it would be great to have more dining options within the hotel itself. Breakfast was good but the staff seemed stretched and took time to replenish food. I believe additional staff could really enhance the dining experience.

The staff were attentive and facilitated my needs during my work trip. The location was ideal for accessing local business venues, and the dining experience at the Italian restaurant was notably enjoyable, with a particularly delicious red snapper.
The hotel appears outdated and has maintenance issues.
